New Nintendo Ds

Anything you know about the new nintendo Ds post below I would love to hear more.

Its about time nintendo makes a new ds. they were doin bad againat the psp. they really need features to it. heres a link of a picture of what it may look like. I think this is what It should look like. the old ds graphics suck. if nintendo makes a new ds it better have better games then just mario, zelda and metroid. lets face it those three are the only good games for the ds. teh ds is more for little kids. I hope they make more shooter games. and I know this is probaly not gonna happen but since I'm an mmorpg freak I really wish they would make that.

An upgraded one again would be too much for me to handle.
This is how I think it will go.

Nintendo DS - Nintendo DS lite - Nintendo DSI- Nintendo DSI lite

and so on and so forth, so that nintendo can leech off money each time they make an upgrade.

Essentially like the street fighter series.

Speaking of getting old, the DS has the most overhyped commercials for it's games.

Sure they will but I can't believe they got rid of the gba slot you NEED that.

Oh well, the new DS might suck or it might slightly less suck, either way someones gonna buy it.

the fact that they took the GBA slot out was probably the stupidest thing they could have done to the DS. It breaks a lot of games that NEED the slot! For example:

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl-You can't get all of the pokemon without importing them from the GBA games, IIRC, so you can't get 100% if u use that DS.
MegaMan Battle Network 5 DS-Since you can't use the old GBA BN games, you can't get the remixed music and the Sol Cross/Forte Cross bonuses.
MegaMan Star Force-No BN Blaster for the same reason as MMBN5 DS.
Guitar Hero On Tour-I don't think this is PLAYABLE on the DSI since you need the slot for the fret buttons. >_<

Plus, the camera is 0.3 Megapixel, which equals horrible quality. Anyone who has a cellphone with a camera has better quality then that crap. Plus, the fact that there are games ONLY usable on the DSI is absolute BS. Heck, I've heard that they MIGHT be making MegaMan 9 for that. This is stupid. I have to DOWNGRADE my DS just to get new downloadable games? No way. I am not going anywhere near that DS.

Very good post and I agree with everything you said there going to get a lot of hate mail because of this and the people who don't know that it won't have a gba slot and buy it or trade it in are going to be pissed.

Wow, thanks noriko. Yeah, I kinda vented a bit there. But hey, I still do think that the DSI is going to be a huge flop for those reasons. The only thing that could save it might be the downloadable games for it. But that's my opinion, like I said before.

well i'm sure there's going to be hack or a mod to fix some of these problem's (o wait you guys probably don't mod stuff to pieces)

i think he assumed that we aren't the kind of people who do stuff like putting that "Homebrew" kind of thing on a console, which i think can make it into its own emulator.
