A New Update to the Internet Browser for the Wii
Wii Opera Browser 2.0 on its way for Christmas.
Nintendo's Wii
Opera Web Browser will be getting a makeover just in time for
Christmas. Version 2.0 of the browser will feature tabs, which allow
for up to six web pages to be viewed at once. By the screen shot, it
seems that the pages will be stored on a cube and can be navigated by
clicking on the respective side the web page is displayed on. Wii Mail messages are also stored on this service, so you don't need to go back to the Wii
Menu to view them. The updated channel will also see minor tweaks and
alterations to increase usability. The source also claims that WiiSpeak
is somehow compatible too, although no details as to how this would
work were announced.
For those who don't yet have the Internet Channel, it costs 500 Wii Points on the Wii Shop Channel. Those who already have the Internet Channel don't need to pay to get this update.

Re: A New Update to the Internet Browser for the Wii
the net browser on the will pales in comparison to the average net access on a computer, I have never seen a point in the damn thing.

Re: A New Update to the Internet Browser for the Wii
it's not really suppose to be like a computer it's to give people access to internet to check email and watch youtube videos also I see a point in it if you live somewhere with free wifi but you lack a computer
